I just found out that there’s an alternate Earth comic where Scott and Alex were abducted along with their parents and raised as Starjammers.
Scott never got his head trauma so he has control of his eye beams. Sometimes his eyes are fully red and sometimes they’re not; I have no idea if these are coloring errors or on purpose.
Ch’od and Raza are replaced by Rocket and Groot for this lineup, which I hate. Stop forcing the Guardians of the Galaxy characters onto other space teams.
Hepzibah barely resembles her original skunky self in this. Her tail is so short and doesn’t even have any black in it.
HOWEVER, Hepzibah and Chris are finally MARRIED in this universe! And Chris constantly calls her his wife!!
Sadly, this comes from the short-lived Heroes Reborn 2021 event and this is only the back-up to Hyperion and the Imperial Guard, so there isn’t any more of this.
I want more of this universe so badly. I want Corsair being able to actually raise his sons. I want Scott and Alex who got to have good childhoods. I want Scott being able to control his eye beams. I want Hepzibah being step-mom to Scott and Alex. I want happy Summers Family adventures in space. Why is this only a half issue and why does more of it not exist.
